Privacy policy

Yosomi is a tray app that reads your Windows notifications and redraws them on screen. What a notification contains can be personal, so this page states plainly what is read, where it goes, and where it does not.
This policy covers how Yosomi itself handles data. Anything it does not cover is governed by the tanmen.work privacy policy.
What it reads
Through the Windows notification API: the title and body of notifications that reach the notification centre, the name and icon of the app that sent each one, and the time it arrived. Reading only happens while Windows permission is granted (Settings → Privacy & security → Notifications), and stops the moment you revoke it.
What happens to it
It is held in memory while the app runs and drawn at the position you chose. Once a notification’s display time is up, it is discarded from memory. Notification content is never written to a file and never transmitted anywhere. There is deliberately no notification history feature.
What is stored on your device
Only your settings — placement, style, language — in a configuration file on your own device. It contains no notification content, and Yosomi never transmits it.
Network
Yosomi itself makes no network requests. There is no server, no account, no telemetry, no analytics. The one exception is checking for updates, which asks Windows whether the Microsoft Store has a newer version. No user data travels with that request.
Sharing with third parties
None. There is no recipient and no data to share.
